I agree with everything that critic Ian Freer wrote about the film except for his point on the lack of depth with the characters. Yes this movie didn’t develop the characters, but it didn’t need to. The cat and mouse chase sequence was as gripping as any war movie I’ve ever watched. And well worth that 21 gun salute!
