This film falls short in narrative, with the protagonist Lucy's inner monologue throughout the car ride feeling repetitive and frankly annoying over time. Just really truly difficult to hear. I continued watching because there was enough intrigue to keep me going and I genuinely wanted to understand where the film was going and what I could take away from it, only to have it digress into nothingness and absurdity. Watch it if you're cool with being left with nothing. Or watch it high, maybe it will leave you with something more then.

I love psychological thrillers but it was difficult to watch this level of unraveling with such little payoff. If this movie had a stronger ending that leaned slightly more into the mental health issues it was addressing, it would’ve made the stressful and emotional mind bending more bearable. I agree with others that it keeps you guessing and wanting to know the ending but it didn’t leave me any feeling except happy it was over.
