Ending left me mute and dumb. I couldn't really understand if it was due to super ego that the hero (Gurudatta) carried. Both the lead characters were in complete communion, synchronicity. When she comes back to pull him back from the clutches of hell, he refuses citing self respect. If the two were in love, I fail to understand why his self respect would be maligned by taking her help. Nevertheless, appreciate the subtle Ness of the story. Daughter plays devil's role, as though her mom wasn't enough. Alas she (the daughter) understood that loving his dad means giving him freedom rather than taking it away.
