The whole concept is brilliant but battling is ridiculously convoluted and annoying with having to aim at moving pokemon whilst switching from balls to your buddy all from the same side of the controller. Congratulations you've managed to overwork a system that has worked well for ages to make this game fiddly and uninspiring. Not impressed thus far.
