We all have to make new beginnings at different times in our lives some from choice others out of the blue. Alison's story is a situation we can all find ourselves in for varying reasons, personally I have been there more than once. I enjoyed Alison's journey shared in the difficulties sadness, mental and physical struggles I empathize with her it made me laugh, cry, smile felt some frustration with her and other characters in the book, a very good lighthearted read, just what I needed when we entered into lock down. I read it in paperback small print edition.
