Forget the pause button on your DVD. This movie, like a great novel, is one that you cannot put down for a second. The pulse throbbing, never ending suspense thriller is unlike any other of its kind that I have seen. The veteran actors, Eric Bana and Cate Blanchett, along with very interesting and very diverse supporting players, help to make this movie continually fascinating and engaging. But it is the work of Soirse Ronan as the title character Hannah that drives this movie from the first frame. She is a revelation, full of confidence and seemingly made for this role. She is not to be taken lightly in her future work. I loved this movie period and it's not the type of movie that I would usually plunk down money to see. But I would plunk down money to see it again....and again.
