I hate this movie so much. Dahmer was a demon of a man and this movie tries to justify his behavior by getting us to sympathize with him. There is no excusing his sadistic and horrifying crimes against those boys and their families. Yes, the movie was well made, but they did absolutely NOTHING to convey that this man was indeed sick, no sort of backstory will make me feel sorry for him. The fact that people actually feel sympathy for him because of this horrible movie, just proves my point at the sort of agenda the filmmakers were pushing. This movie wasn’t a terrible concept, but the fact that they did it in such a way to make people relate/sympathize with Dahmer makes me absolutely livid. I feel bad for the victims families that have had to hear about this “4 star” movie telling the story about how this monster should be felt sorry for…
