An outright action film, where the hero doesn't move much and henchmen reach out to him one by one, invariably to get smashed, in slow moving cut shots. A movie with a message - never mind it is a cliché. After all, messages are always cliched. A Police Story Picture, where the policeman is interested more in crime outside his territory, which he, perhaps, has already fully de-criminalized. Hero often mouths the punch line: 'If you fix a target, prey should be hit.' The movie has fulfilled the base dictum of Kollywood: 'If you produce a movie with Super Star, it should be a hit'.

It is listed as 'Survival Drama', which, perhaps, means the audience need to survive the drama.

Predictable, passable and certainly not palatable.

Wonderful movie with gripping narrative Impeccable performance. A 'never miss this one ' movie.

Quite absorbing. Saratkumar and Ashok Selvan both have done wonderful job.

If Pathan and Jawan mark one side of Masala Movie template, this forms the other. Abound with absurdities like a brain tumor patient dying cheerfully with full make up and smile on her lips ; like those working as sweepers or begging abroad making their household members back home millioners; love for mother Soil flooding after decades of Stay in a foreign soil living with citizenship rights et al. Still this kind of movie would go for a feel good movie, closer life movie blah.. blah. But for the performances of main cast this bot boiler has nothing interesting to offer.

If you want to see a TV Serial with flashes of Super Star sprayed every 30 minutes go for this movie. Best of luck.

Just reaches the level of passable.

After a promissing start what we witness is a gory horrible horrid horror serial. Pray Arya gets more film offers.
