season one was actually pretty good. i loved seeing all my favorite dc characters in the same verse in a comedic setting. the jokes were funny and the plot was light hearted. towards the end of season one it started to get a little too intense and serious for my liking considering it started off more-so as a comedy. it only gets worse from there though as it tries to push a more serious tone through season two and i felt kinda awkward watching it teeter between seriousness and comedy. it then becomes a virtue signaling mess just trying to appeal to woke culture, feminism, etc solely as opposed to focusing on actual good writing. definitely lost my interest when they started writing every character into being an absolute fool in attempts to make the viewer like harley who herself becomes a pretty unlikeable character. i’m about halfway through season two and thats just the vibe i feel. was looking forward to watching the whole thing but damn, show stays too busy pushing their political agenda that they forget theyre working with dc material by the middle of season 2.

dororo is kinda annoying. kinda bratty and annoying but isn’t even the protagonist nor do they really drive the plot enough to be worth keeping as a character in the anime. not sure why the anime is named after them since haikkyumaru is the protagonist. in short, dororo is annoying but the anime is still really good.
