Filling the shoes of Jacob Rivers, a Resistance fighter trying to save survivors from the Annihilation Line, you embark on missions for the Resistance that require bravery, cunning, and a fair bit of stealth, as eartly on, encountering a T-series is certain death. The game follows the final mission to take out skynet and follows into the stories of Terminator 1 and 2 only. The game is a fantastic first person shooter that feels straight out of James Cameron's fictional apocalyptic future. The machines are every bit as menacing and terrifying as they are on the big screen and the dystopian landscape just adds an air of grim hopelessness as you try and change the future with classic heros like John Connor and Kyle Reese, as a well as new leaders like Commander Baron. You also have influence of survivors you save throughout the game, deciding their fates in the end. All in all, the game is a 10/10 for me. I felt the thrill of taking down Terminators in a perfectly loved and cared for game that you know the studio was proud to make. I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys this universe.
