I’m honesty shocked as to how this movie was praised so hard. Mason Thames is someone out of Dhar Man. This movie had so much potential but it was all wasted by hiring a ton of inexperienced actors by one well-known actor. None of the plot lines added up. Gwen’s mother and her supernatural powers? Honestly whoever wrote the script should have had it checked over by a 7-year old. I’m surprised this made it to the big screen with so many plot holes and unanswered points. Mason Thames could have gotten so far with his movie if he put just a little extra effort into his role. Sure this movie has a few fans now, but will only be a thing of faint, fading memories as the days go on. Mason doesn’t have the passion or what it takes to become a big-shot. He may have a few lousy 13 year olds coming at him but they will leave their phase within the year. Mason will be lucky to even have a legacy in acting when he turns 21. Also the Miguel kid, he truly gave something out a school presentation like a child forced to make a video on a historical era. The McGraw girl has a more important sister who will always have a better legacy than her but it’s alright. At least they had a little splash of sunlight. If you want to see real horror acting, watch Scream or something. Anything is better than this.
