It was different to most other cop shows. A shame it ended so quickly. It did get a bit corny in the fourth season for a few episodes but overall quite enjoyable.

They change designs without consulting the owners. Every house seems to get painted black. And OMG are they perpetually stoned? The slurred words, twitchy body language and odd co-ordination makes me wonder. I watch a lot of renovation shows and all I can say I would burn my house down before letting them lose on it. However, my personal taste aside, it is entertaining if only to see what they will bugger-up next. Amusing but not great!

Yes, it is most definitely better than the original 80s movie. However, having never read the books, I have to say it ended with me wondering what all the fuss was about. I guess they will have to make another installment to give the story some kind of an ending. Don't know if I will bother watching it though. Two stars because it is better than the original, which was probably the worst Scifi movie ever.
