The books are great. The use of new word really helps increase my vocabulary, it creates a colourful and vibrant picture in my mind and always and I mean always makes me feel like being in one of those adventures. I am rating it four out 5 because of the fact that almost all of the stories encircle around the same concept- they always start of on holiday, something mysterious happens to them, they suddenly find themselves in an adventure, then suddenly they are kidnapped by someone and held captive in a secret and remote place, but eventually, someone (be it Timmy, Jo , Yan etc), helps them in the tough situation and gets them out ending with them having solved the mystery always and I mean ALWAYS report to the same darn Inspector, hence end of story. However, the way that the author Enid Blyton, always introduces one or the other element in each story stiil makes me love the books. I would suggest to buy them seperately at (if possible) book fairs rather than getting the whole set which have a new cover and are really small to read, but other than that, it is your choice after all, stories are great set in the 20th century and are alwyas, truly enthralling to read.
