Iron Jawed Angels was fake news before that term was popular. Hollywood decided to write Jeannette Rankin, the first women elected to Congress in 1916, OUT OF HISTORY. Jeannette Rankin introduced the Federal Suffrage Amendment, not Carrie Chapman Catt (Angelica Huston). The whole movie is a farce and yet has been acclaimed as some great contribution to women's rights. All lies. Shameful and embarrassing that the producers chose to rewrite and extinguish the victory that Jeannette Rankin claimed for all women in 1916. Some of us know our herstory!
