This movie is great but all of these attributes about action and characters growing and then going to war at the end DO NOT continue in the new Batman 2022. Sorry but it’s true. Hope this helps some.

Maybe a star and a half. The movie is almost entirely backstory. If you’ve never seen Batman before you probably won’t even understand the characters. 4 hand to hand combat scenes only 2 of them good. Only 1 time a decent gadget was used and it was just a fast car with good suspension. Only 2 interactions between Bruce and Alfred who’s basically his father figure. Batman did mostly reconnaissance. Btw I love all prior Batmans so…..
