I liked it. I think everyone with these long reviews are over thinking it... Its a kids movie. yes there isn't a father and the boyfriend is a dougebag. it was a fun, child friendly scary movie. my 10 year old loved it and my twin 6 years old were super freaked out... but not freaked out to where they wouldn't go to bed. Fun Family movie! 8/9 .... 3 *'s in my opinion.
