There are more than enough actors from New Orleans that could have had a role in this movie to offer the robust and authentic flavor of their distinctive regional vernacular and accent. Also, it was a treat to see the socio-political and economic challenges regarding Hurricane Katrina, indigenous faith and spirituality, and the politics of business - both federal and state woven into the tapestry of a film. Just as the story of a newly wed couple is unfolding there is a seemingly respectful regard of everyday workforce hardships. Most important, there was a thoughtful mixture of actors that were well known and new faces to the silver screen. In closing, the plot maintains your interest and can be relatable to many that have live similar experiences in various metropolises.

Spoiler 📢: This is a movie that will include entertaining sequencing and scenes that may not be realistic if you have encountered a hurricane and tumultuous weather and survived ravenous predatorial animals. "Crawl" offered much more than expected. The suspense was awesome! Extremely realistic fact pattern ( with minimal unrealism) with true consequences embedded in the point of view for each character. The movie allowed room for resolving conflict in the midst of a horrendous conflict. The overly critical critiques of this film to me seem to be composed by pretentious and wayward viewers. 👀 the 🎥 for yourself. No groupthink. Be an individual that will form your own opinion. ✌ to all.
