The runtime is challenging, as others have noted here. Brad Pitt is solid throughout as is Margot Robbie. In fact, the entire cast was a pleasure to watch work. This was a very big story with multiple subplots and more than one dead end where a storyline just failed to complete its course. That was frustrating. The ending scene was a little confusing but we see it through the eyes of a character I think was meant to be an observer and the one continuous thread in the film helping to tie everything together. it was almost successful. The best part of the film all happens in the first 45 minutes. The rest is filler.
