brilliant. like a boxing pro, showed you a lead jab early ("Hall of You"), and just as you think you got 'im figured out, crushes you near the end with a scene with emotional heft of that montage from Up. requires more investment of empathy and thought than some of the other lighter faire Pixar movies but well worth the effort.
