I am thoroughly convinced that this series is a work and move of God. Unlike many "religious" movies, this is exceptionally well-acted and extremely relational. The viewer can readily identify with those "Bible characters" whose lives were impacted by knowing the person of Jesus. Jesus is well-portrayed as One Who is fully God and fully human. Backstories add a deeper understanding and connection, without twisting Scriptural accounts. Every moment of every episode draws ones' heart toward the Savior and glorifies God. My husband and I have not only contributed, financially, but have gifted DVDs to our friends and relatives, and shared on social media. (We feel that passionate about it!) May God continue to bless this work, Dallas Jenkins, and everyone else involved in creating The Chosen, to His glory, and the building of His Church. Amen.
