This book is absolutely amazing! I heard about it on a video because I was looking for new books to read and the lady in the video recommended this one almost immediately! When I started, I fell in love with the book. The way Jeannette describes her childhood experiences makes you feel like you’re experiencing it with her. I can relate with some of her stories too which is what makes this memoir so special. I would most definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking for something to read!
