My granddaughter wanted to see this movie because she read the book but she said it was nothing like the book. Me, I was shocked at the contents of the movie and embarrassed and so was my grand. This movie is in NO WAY PG-13. If whoever rated this movie allows their teens to watch this stuff, shame on them. And also, to me, it's a TV movie not theater. The plot has been addressed many times before in tv movies. Nothing new but the actors.
