Coping Block

I went to the exhibit, and while Billy Holidays "Strange Fruit" played in the background, I was devastated by these images which represent a fraction of the horror my abducted ancestors went through. So when I here someone say, slavery wasn't that bad, or Jim Crow didn't exist, or Sundown towns were a myth, I can in a clear mind,see the face of pure unfettered evil right in front of me.
