I haven't been this disappointed since The Last Jedi. I heard a review that said "the scariest movie of the decade" and "this generation's Silence of the Lambs". I was so excited tgo see this and the opening 2 mins were great. After that the wheels came off. The main character isn't like-able at all and frankly none of the characters are like-able. Nicholas Cage was very good, but the directing, the pacing everything was off about this movie. I give it one star. Don't waste your money on renting. Wait for it to head to streaming.

First act was a mess trying to fix the previous movie. Can't blame JJ on that though. Finn was left without much to do again. Pointless new characters should have spent that time with Poe and Finn. Rey is too powerful too quick. Just made me roll my eyes. Kylo Ren has a more interesting arc. Emperor felt shoehorned in and made nooooo sense!!! Look, I see this was total damage control after TLJ. I blame this movie on the producer not JJ for not having a cohesive script for the trilogy. Prequels were better. There I said it.

I have been playing Metroid games since Game Boy’s Return of Samus. Super Metroid was the benchmark until this game. I give SM a slight edge based on what the devs were able to achieve with such a small unit (snes) the only downside of this game w/our getting into spoilers is I think the bosses can be a little too difficult sometimes. Could just be be. I am getting older and my gaming reflexes could be becoming feeble lol. All that said this game and the controls are stunning.
