This movie is truly amazing through the plot and simply the acting. You start to develop a longing for these characters as you watch them experience these issues themselves. You want a solution and hold such a deep hope for these characters. You understand both sides of their views when trying to find a solution to the problem they are facing. (Spoiler) A particular scene that hit me hard was when the female lead was trying to figure out the boy as she saw him as a solution to end this torturess experience. She played along as the motherly role and was sitting with the boy teaching him how to bark and howl like a dog.As of form of teaching. There was laughter as these two characters "connected" and a sense of happiness in the air which lead the female role to feel as if there was an end and the solution was love. They begin to howl and bark and you see this emotional break in her character. She howls and barks almost at a screaming level, the filming of this scene was incredible as well as it captures her beginning to realize that maybe there is no hope. She sits in silence and recognizes the break in her mind, the emotional tie this "home" has upon her and her partner, and is emotionally hit with a silent sledgehammer. You begin to feel as if you too were hit by it. Reading the one-star reviews makes me really wonder if they really understood the depths of this movie. Some didn't understand the emotional aspect of this movie and it was definitely shown. This movie is meant for those who want to feel and long for these characters' hope. Those who understand emotional torture and those who can handle hard heavy movies. One star reviews give me a mix feeling as I could see how somehow who watches Marvel movies would give this a one star. Nothing wrong with Marvel but its a completely different feeling and aspect if you're used to movies having an "perfect" ending or some type of solution that works in favor of the characters. Once again a brilliant conspect and amazing acting.
