Maybe I was at a disadvantage having enjoyed 4 out 5 of Jack Carr’s books about this Character. ( I am about to start the final available book currently). I feel like if Amazon had more closely followed the book the show would have been much better. Having known the characters ahead of time might have made it less enjoyable for me. Because I was looking so forward to watching this show, it definitely left me walking away wondering how they could leave so much of a great story on the cutting room floor. I knew the characters and had a hard time following the plot, the show writers just changed too much. What a disappointment, there was definitely enough material in the books for several great seasons of television.
