For so many of us late baby boomer / early gen xers, this movie is a total classic. I've watched it at least 50 or more times since I was a kid. You couldn't make a movie like this today. The later remake and Broadway musical were very good of course, but didn't have the edge and outrageousness of the original. It still holds up.

I've watched it many times. A fascinating, sentimental look back at how many of the most popular albums of all time were recorded in this historic studio.
