Barbie movie is a train wreck of a film that should be avoided at all costs. Save your time and money for something that actually deserves your attention. In a time when society is striving for gender equality and positive role models, the 2023 Barbie movie disappointingly misses the opportunity to be relevant and empowering. Instead, it perpetuates stereotypes and sends the wrong message to impressionable audiences, both young and old. Just look at all the male characters, they are depicted as shallow, clueless, and overly focused on competition and success. This perpetuates the harmful stereotype that men are incapable of understanding or appreciating the complexities of emotions and relationships. Such regressive depictions fail to reflect the diverse and multifaceted experiences of both men and women. Only get's a 1/10 for cinematography and creative film making
