Feels like they're trying to meet a political quota for the L team, and I say that as a member of said L team.
I'm honestly offended that they think we're stupid enough to not see through this cash grab.
It feels like very little thought went into this film and it's a huge letdown coming back to back to the masterpiece that was Puss In Boots the last wish.
As a creative I can almost HEAR how the concept discussions for this film went down and it is NOT cute.
The bodily proportions on the animation is pretty unsettling too. I understand artistic liberties, but there's little to no consistently in design. Feels like it's attempting to combine 2D animation methods and styles with the animation style of turning red in the most janky way possible.
