Absolutely no need for this beautifully filmed cinematic series to be in black and white. Yes, we know colour wasn't available in 1961, we all accept that and I can personally vouch for that too. But really? How does black and white make it atmospheric? Maybe those that only know colour think that way. I just found it extremely irritating. Waste of otherwise very atmospheric filming.
