Huge vikings fan. Huge. I checked daily for news of renewal...and the day finally came. However, it came a bit short for me. I'm hoping the remaining 16 episodes make up for it. Reason: the story felt all over the place. Are we exploring the life of leif? Saw little of him. Who is supposed to be the big bad? Why is story jumping back and forth? It almost feels like they opened many plots for hope of many seasons. What made original vikings so strong was the intense character development. Develop leif...develop harold...show their exploration, struggle. It just felt rushed. The events of 1 episode could have been a whole half season.
