"Dhadkan Zindaggi Kii" There wouldn't have existed a better title than this! This show is a surreal one, and I mean it. The story, the medical element, the angles between the charecters - Doctors, their professional - personal life , the patient - doctor equation, and more, the show has been such a journey!! To understand the central theme, the show traces the struggles women , and even men face in a system that is men - centric. They have also traced the mostly neglected image of men and the consequences they face in the setup that boosts their ego than empathy. This, is just the tip. The story is layered in such a way that you will find a new perspective in every angle and Charecter. Moreover every Charecter is grey, has a backing. The actors are, Oh damn perfect! The lead Charecter Deepika goes on a journey to pursue her very existence and her dream of becoming a Surgeon and thereafter a Trauma Surgeon , helming amongst the toughest patients in the Emergency Department . Faces issues with her junior team members, the administration system, society's judgements and complicated, layered relationships. Now before you judge. This very journey has been traced so organically that you would be amazed at the realistic approach the makers have opted to. The show gave a hope of a lot of ships between the charecters. You would feel that oh! Maybe Abhay and Deepika end up in a relationship, Nah maybe Vikrant and Deepika be a ship , and so on. And the story makes you realise that life is much more about love stories and fairy tale matchmaking. Every human being is a layer of emotions, experiences, and more. The show is about relationships, is about Determination and Will to learn, Defend, Observe, Accept and grow. Friendship is not inferior to marriage. Clinging to the dissection doesn't gives peace. Is the story of that Heartbeat, which keeps you alive in the irregular crest of life and the very thing that may begin to haunt you when you begin to hear it in deserted silence. The show is not for those who begin to presume the charecters as those of a love story, destined to be together in a romantic angle. All are unique and integral to the journey. Be it Abhay, Vikrant, Sia, Isha, Piroz, Wasim, Ali, Aditi and so more. And they are not ideal people, they are those who exist in the real world. They are not predictable. There are many senstive topics touched by the show. Be it Drug Addiction, Extra Marital Affair, Gaslighting, Mental Health, Patriarchal expectations from genders, God Complex , Stalking, Manipulation, and more. At the end I would say , if you will see the show without judgements or presumption, this content backed show will be a marvellous watch. The story would definitely amp up, and being warmth to your Dhadkan!

The show is a very subtle, intuitive and lighthearted take on the conventional concept of "arranged marriage". It is about a marriage, arranged upon on behalf of certain layered and realistic circumstances that take place upon the lives of , primarily the lead Charecter Mannu (ManKaameshwar Maurya). A gentle, heart of gold man, with the vision of "Galat Kiya Nahi to Galat hoga bhi nahi" (If you haven't done any wrong , no wrong shall happen to you) whose journey makes you understand the very beautiful nuances of life, and goodwill. Mannu gets married to Sneha, who escapes on the very first night of marriage, fraudulently putting the entire family accused under dowry charges. Mannu is put in jail, but his gold heart wins the heart of the other goon-boys put in the same cage. Their father, the local Don "Daddy" sets him free alongside his sons. Mannu has an old connection with Daddy. Circumstances pave a way where Mannu loses his job but wishes to reopen the age old Tent house eshtablished by his grandfather. Daddy ends up helping him but asks his hand for his daughter. Later the realisation of the earlier connection with Daddy , though makes Mannu agree for the marriage upon permission from his daughter, But this very marriage paves way for a further change in his life. The story is fast paced and very realistic and heartwarming with the equation of the charecters. The bgm is beautiful and Mannu's innocence wins the heart. Do give the show a try if you are looking for a sensible and lighthearted, yet layered story. Is shot in the locales of Lucknow.

We have watched this show in 2022. I had found it in my trials to give a watchable show to my family amidst all the craps being there in the ITV space. I would say it's a nice show, it was intriguing to my family. They finished these 155 episodes within 20 days as they would watch multiple episodes in one go over lunch & dinner. It was not something very different sort of a story - Is a family drama but the best part is that it was so meaningfully written. The friendship angle between young age and later on - became the iconic storyline of the EDKV series. It shows how spewing hate is not going to help anyhow. Being considerate and respectful will help. Understanding the other facet of the story will help. Sufficient drama, good charecterisation, even the supporting actors were as lovable and played their part. This will be a show where the villain would be loved as well!! The short yet beautiful journey has made this show immemorable to us, and I would say let it be :)) Thank you to the entire team for making my family come together and watch a well crafted show with as intrigue 🙂 Bidding adieu to Ek duje Ke Vaaste season 1 Must watch. Would see Season 2 and update as well maybe :) You would also love Bade Bhaiya ki Dulhaniya as well, that was the show we had watched before this one, and it was great!!! 57 epi it had, a light-hearted beautifully shot story :)) Regards.

The shows writing is very poetic and meaningful. Each charecter is there for a reason and not just to take up the screen time, the Sakhuja family has a backstory and so has Pritam and even Meera's family as well. The only little problem at the beginning was the seemingly slow pace of the story which I realise how important it was. If that wouldn't have been there, the connect and vulnerability we can now feel for each charecter, it wouldn't have been there. Always have been a fan of Zama Habib's writing. It's not an over the top show and is meant for those who can cherish the vulnerability of their human self, taking aside their ego, and that's exactly how the story progresses. It is shown that Amrita loves her husband so very dearly. Even when he is no more , she talks and visualises of him. I worried as to how will Pritam's Equation come to place. But ah it's so organic and beautiful of the way it's happening! That's exactly how life goes... One should love everyone, Be kind to everyone Life is not about getting married to a person and then loving him/her/them and leaving everyone else. Love is Kindness, you can extend to everyone in this universe. The mutual love when two individuals exert on each other, that forms a beautiful couple . Each symbol of "Zindagi" is beautiful I hope the charm of the show remains as such. The song is beautiful - both the adapted version as well as the new version "Zindagi kahin na jaana , Zindagi Mere Ghar Aana" Each actor is marvellous there, Even the charecter of Nimmo Aunty is written well if you look closely :) Please try once !
