Good adaptation of the book. Solid acting all round. But somewhat slow. Then I guess so was the book. But books work different. They let the reader fill in the gaps and move along the pace. Movies force the pace via their visual. The story always reminded me of a Twilight Zone. But those stories had little backstories to tell and were only 30 minutes.
