Deep Arya

While I wanted to give it a three, the writing and acting wasn't the best. There was either editing issues, which made the writing seem forced or they just wanted the movie to move along, without allowing it to breath or expand on the character/story (A to B type conversation). Also, the illogical decisions were too blatant.I don't mind a few minor 'stupid decisions', but in this film, it appeared like everyone just walked into their death, while they were given ample warning signs. Though the scares are decent and the premise is semi-entertaining, writing (and possibly editing) hurt the film.

Not perfect, but damn brilliant enough.

Brilliant. Lighthearted entertainment and comedy. The crew feel like a family and the chemistry gels well.

I've seen this twice and there is a great layer of themes -- fascism, the cult of personality, desperation and morality. Don't believe the negative views, it's actually a damn good movie.

This wasn't a film, this was a journey. The themes were much more richer (Grief was profound. Loss. Loneliness. Hope. The power parents). The story is fleshed out and each character is given air to breathe, grow and connect. I'm not worried about the length (while others want to give their two cents on how to edit it down), the story was what mattered. The emotions in this film was unexpected (the Amazon fight scene). I could write a lot about why I loved this film, but it's a journey with heroes.
