I just finished reading the "Spare." My first thought when I began to read this book was immediately taken back to the day that Princess Diana was killed and then watching that sweet little ginger boy having to walk behind his Mummy's coffin. I was a young mother at that time and I was mortified that the Palace had actually allowed this to happen. Then I began to read further, understanding the pain that Harry had endured as a teenager and eventually a man. It was made so obvious that he had never been allowed to grieve, cry, get angry over the tragedy that he had endured. It was so obvious that Charles did not comfort him because he had already married the love of his life. "Camilla". Camilla, the horrible ugly old woman that had taken Diana's place many years before that. William was older than Harry and although I believe he too loved Diana, I never felt like he was as devastated over his loss because he was continually being groomed to be the next King the HEIR to the throne. Harry was obvious left to deal with his pain alone. This book has opened my eyes and I am sure millions of eyes across the world. revealing the hypocrisy of the "valued" monarchy. I adored the Queen. She was a gracious kind loving woman who managed to perform her duties and love her family. The issue is not with the Monarchy as much as it is about what goes on behind those great doors of the Palace. I truly believe this is the beginning of the end for this once admired Royal Family. Secrets and truth have come out and not just from Harry's lips, the world now has their chance to judge these outcomes and make their own decisions. I for one, am one hundred percent on Harry and Meghan's side. Not that I am choosing sides because unfortunately the other half of this family do not deserve respect to have a "side". I fear what will happen now with Charles as King and that immoral "consort" as Queen. That is a total disrespect of everything the United Kingdom has stood for in the past.
Harry has lost two great loves in his life, first is his adoring beautiful mother and now is loving Granny. The world will continue to miss these remarkable women but Harry has been blessed with someone who holds his heart and will valiantly walk beside him, love him for ever and help him heal everyday. Meghan is his miracle, his love, his confidante. May God bless your family.
