If you were/are a Reagan admirer you will enjoy the movie. If not, it does nothing to sway your opinion. It majestically paints the 40th President in a basking glow while over dramatizing the obstacles he face. The best byline of them movie is the story of a young man who camped on Reagan’s front lawn to gain a meeting with the then Governor of California. As President he hires the young man to come to Washington and become his speech writer. Real or imagined it adds a bit of mystique to the story.
