Pretty terrible money grab from the showrunner/Netflix. This has nothing to do with the withcher at all. The acting is fine, the story is absolutely horrendous. If anything, Netflix needs to fire the showrunner for a FRESH new take. How about the showrunner and Netflix takes a look at the reviews and realizes diverting from the source material drastically was/is the worst move (8% audience review on rotten tomatoes, worst audience review in there history). Instead they had the opportunity to turn this into the an excellent competitor to the Lord of the Rings franchise, but decided to completely ignore their true fan base. Who, might I add, actually enjoyed the FIRST SEASON of the witcher; the 2nd season started to divert from the source material a fair bit, but was still manageable to watch. Blood orgins is absolute trash. The only possible way of reclaiming this Witcher franchise on Netflix is recasting Henery back and LISTENING to him instead of saying "he's extremely difficult", because he is probably the only person on the payroll who has played the games AND read the novels consecutively. I can speak for myself here, but I look forward to Season 3 to be rolled out, but once season 4 comes I'll be watching for the train wreck not because I think the quality of the show will get any better. So there I diverted the review away from blood orgins, being that there was no relivent source material, I assumed it was fair game.
