Very good documentary 👍 Amanda did a phenomenal job!! Especially considering it was her own family. I felt Ms. Debi did the exact same thing her father did by being in denial and not really acknowledging Angie's pain. That's how the vicious cycle of abuse is allowed to be passed on from generation to generation. If her mother did not protect her, why would she think she would have protected her own gran-daughter, Angie? That part baffled me and that's what confirmed for me that she was in denial. I try not to pass judgment, but I've never understood how any woman whole-heartedly knowing their exposing their child to abuse, turn a blind eye & continously allow the abuse to keep going on. Anyway, I wish the best for all of them.
