Only now that I'm watching this because of the reviews that I've read.But I had a question in my mind about his (Vincenzo) character in the first part... In Italy he was a very very confident, wise, egotistical, resist change, powerful and somehow notorious leader of the Mafia because of his previous Boss but when he returned to Korea he was just fooled by the Koreans and to think that the were his countrymen so he should know that he is being deceived in his country. So he is not street smart. Just saying..... (just a mere observation) Anyway I will continue watching to see what they say that this kdrama is good and worth watching apparently. And I saw the rating... it was 4.9 so it must be really good. But he was AMAZING at the end of EP. 1.

I watched Encounter only now after 3 years and I have a regret. The story/plot was beautiful the couple was perfectly matched and the OST was excellent even the shots cinematography. This is the only kdrama that I finished watching all the episodes and yet the following day I was watching again from the beginning episode by episode. Love this much. I liked the lead actor who loved and liked poems and novels and that was a big help in expressing his emotions feelings and thoughts. I love the ending also that even they belonged in a two different worlds they can still meet and be together. Love love this story much 😍😍

I was able to finish the 16 episodes although at first the character of Bong Sun possessed by the ghost was so annoying. The plot of the story was good except for those scenes of the sous chef and the rest of the crew.. they always having a chat making jokes as if no customer are waiting to be served especially while cooking.Was this a normal routine in the kitchen of a fine dine in restaurant? Are the staff allowed to sleep on the dining table and put their feet with shoes on top? Bong Sun studied abroad for 2 years and Sun Woo sacrificed being away from Bong Sun only to be a waitress or cook in the canteen of Mr Shin? Choi Sung-jae was stabbed and fell from the building and bled to death with a river of blood coming from his head and yet he was still alive? Just asking..
