Stellar movie!
I love everything about this, Pixar clearly chose to move in a different direction with this film and it definitely pays off. First of all, above everything else the animation is amazing, the geniuses at Pixar have really outdone themselves this time, the animation looks almost real without falling into the uncanny valley. The plot moves forward in a brisk while effective pace that gives action, humor, and a thoughtful and meaningfully hero's journey for each character. My one and ONLY criticism is only with the intended audience, the movie can't seem to decide whether it is for the older or younger audience so the explanations of the more advanced scientific components to the story seem simplified in a way intended for little kids but not quite enough so that they could easily understand. The science is solid and well thought out so that the realism works for the story rather than serving as a barrier to hold it back. For those who come in to this movie hoping for a toy story movie, you will be disappointed in that regard but not disappointed with the movie you see. I highly recommend this movie and hope you enjoy it.
Plus, for an extra layer of depth to the story search up the theory of Schrodinger's cat and compare it to the two cats in the movie, you will be surprised.
