Excellent drama, well acted and produced. Nearly always tense and absorbing. Just starting season 3 but hopefully it will keep us enthralled.

Very good, but the ending seemed rushed and was disappointing. Not up to the standard of previous BBC dramas.

All started well, and the first 4 episodes were intriguing and tense. Then it all just fell apart, long drawn out and the last episode was sloppy and disappointing. The BBC seems to be losing the plot when it comes to drama.

At last, a BBC drama worth watching! Well acted and well made, it draws you in. It really does make you think about the tremendous sacrifices made by millions. Looking forward to the next series.

The Golden Compass was a superb story, and the movie was brilliant. We had thought His Dark Materials was a follow up, but instead is just a rehash of the same story. What on earth is the point of remaking this? The effects are good, some of the production and acting is good. However some of the acting is dreadful, and some of the casting just plain odd. A complete waste of time, and proof that BBC drama is losing the plot.
