Magical Mike

Excellent movie . Very visceral at times , a few freshly picked moments and draggy bits , great acting from Denzil , a suitable copy of Russell Crowe by mr Pascal , and a massive array of great architecture, overtaking the original film . Monkeys fight , sharks swim , epic ship battles , and fights emulate the 2000 film . We even get a giant Rhino . Bloody awesome and indeed very bloody at times with a few limbs and heads flying off. The 2 emperers are brilliantly crafted .Suitable Shakespearean series of deaths at the climax Go see it!!

Extremely good...it starts off somewhat sporadically, and waeves together it's several stories, into sequences that are hypnotic, and engaging. Many scenarios in different time periods are mixed in simultaneously, and as we accept from the pedigree of the filmmakers, the whole canvas is big, and ultimately this is intelligent, at times ,awe inspiring and satisfying cinema. This movie is underrated. It demands several watches to really get inside it, and you'll enjoy it the first time. Shades of The Matrix, Manga, Speed Racer, and philosophical concepts are present here.
