I want to watch people work a job that's unusual and adventurous. Instead I feel like I'm watching a scripted drama series, where the most basic of problems is narrated as "life or death." Many situations play out, as if a director is telling them to make it overly dramatic. Sad to see them pander to the camera versus doing their job efficiently and effectively.
The worst of it all, is the clear mismatch of clips.. Multiple points during season 2 the timeline doesn't add up. In the middle of episode 3 after they've been salvaging logs for days with a particular boat, suddenly it's back on its original boat trailer in the yard, when Sarah goes to complain to Mike that they've been wasting time salvaging logs.. Speaking of which.. What purpose did it serve to recklessly move that boat via crane to a different trailer? Other than to create fluffy drama? This crew could stand alone without all the scripted drama.
