I really tried to like this film, but I found that it oversimplified and yet over-exaggerated gender inequality all at the same time. I was really hoping for a message near the end that was more unifying between the 2 sexes. I’m also disappointed that the highest grossing female produced film had to be about this fantastical Barbie. On the other hand, i can’t wait for the GI Joe counterpoint movie to come out! LOL Oh please, someone do it! Okay, i’ll duck now.
