I wish Dr. Sanjay could examine my brain. I’m willing to bet he would find something similar to what happened to RFK Jr. I’m a disabled veteran who had a mistake happened during an ENT surgery. I wasn’t given a follow up after surgery. I started having issues with my nose and face about 2 weeks after surgery. I’ve been given 7 antibiotics and prescribed a feeding tube drink for 19 months. The surgery happened in July 2021 and personally I’ve never seen a person be treated the way I am. I’ve had so many mistakes with my healthcare I can hardly believe I live in the United States of America it’s 2024 I feel like I thought medicine was more advanced than what I’ve seen with my healthcare. I don’t understand why the RMR VA is letting this happened to someone they made a mistake on? I don’t understand how the hospitals mistake became the patient’s responsibility? I’ve had extremely bad luck with my healthcare at the VA. It feels like my life has turned into something similar to the movie pursuit of happiness except I’m in the pursuit of healthiness. It’s been very difficult to manage something like this with very little help from the hospital. I’ll be very fortunate if I can make it through this. I wish I was fortunate enough to have a Doctor like Dr. Sanjay Gupta.
