Its a terrible drama that shows Pakistani society in the worse possible light. Cant believe the nastiness of the characters... a girl wants to appear for the entrance exam for medicine and just the attitude of her father and then husband is so regressive. In India, poor people even sell their land to ensure their children - boys AND girls get quality education and pull themselves out of the cycle of poverty and deprivation. The lead actress has a expressionless face and most of the time the camera focuses on her deadpan face and the audience is supposed to overlook the flaws in scriptwriting by just taking in her beauty. LOL And the less said about the fathers threatening to divorce the mothers - after decades of marriage and kids - what can one say? Im at a loss that such stories still find directors and actors. And audience.
