This series was unlike anything I have ever watched. There was something very surreal and poetic as the story unfolds and you experience a range of emotions as though you were encased in glass as well. When something you watch has the power to do so, it has been created exceptionally well.
Regardless of your beliefs and preferred genre of viewing preference I recommend this to everyone I know.
