I'm not going to claim to be an expert, but I watch a ridiculous number of movies every day, and this one, KALKI, is AMAZING. I've read some reviews that claim the director copied Mad Max and other stuff, but in a world without water, what would the world be if it weren't a desert, where cars would have to fly because it's difficult to drive on sand? People should either be living on water, sand, or in the air in a crumbling globe. Of those three, I believe that living in a desert is the most original since GANGA vanished. If people are really pick on it, then it may also be argued that DUNE can also be claimed that it was a ripoff of Mad Max. Given how fantastic the cast was. Everyone was incredible. As for those complaining that Prabhas's ridiculous behavior during fights irritated them, are you really thinking that this was not annoying or an awkward situation? He wasn't funny at all during the battle in Shambala. People normally become dissatisfied anytime there is a movie about God since the movies usually don't reach our level of devotion to God, but this was beyond fantastic. Amitabh Sir was phenomenal, and it was an eye feast. It was perfect, maybe better than perfect. Since I live overseas and there aren't many Indians there, it was easy for me to make sure I saw and knew nothing about Kalki—not even the trailers, really. The entire movie was excellent, and I have a habit of saying "wallpaper photo" whenever there's a great shot of anything in a movie, but I believe that would fill up storage space very quickly if we applied that to this particular film. People who claim that VD's voice wasn't excellent should imagine what would happen if he had a different voice because we are all familiar with his sound. My heart was overflowing with gladness when I heard Arjun Das's voice. I don't watch much Bollywood because it's just my taste, but Deepaka was really, really wonderful. Although I am aware that Rajamouli and Prabhas were friends, an Oscar-winning director wouldn't participate in a film that wasn't his if he didn't think it was deserving of the honor. I apologize for my long post; I know nobody would read it all, but I had to get it out. Oh, and it was amazing to watch Brahmanandam Sir in a humorous role. To those who complained the first half was slow, you're slow. All in all, this film is remarkable, extraordinary, captivating, lovely, great, and it may be the greatest ever produced in the history of the Indian film industry due to the cast and STORY.
Thank you.
Love all.
