I cried so much reading this book, and that was only towards the middle. All the books kids read now are about regular stuff like high school romance and sports and families, but sometimes the realities must be shared. This book was amazing, and that doesn't even have to do with the fact that Mark Oshiro made so many Nigerian references (I'm Nigerian). This book is realistic and sends a powerful message. Thanks so much, Mr. Oshiro for writing this novel. I feel like you've added to my life, and this book melted my heart.
