The fact that both the alien and woman are people that most directors wouldn’t cast as scientists and main characters because of how they look was a fishing hook for me. An Alex Kurtzman masterpiece!!! A beautiful story with an accurate representation of humanity, its actions, and its possible future (if we even have one). I sincerely hope for a season 2.
